dance, dance, dance
Some days just call for an impromptu dance party.

her backyard
This little girl has learned her way around her yard and knows just how to find what she's looking for.
She usually begins at the tomatoes, picking the ones just right for her little hands.

Then she takes my hand and leads me where she'd like to go...

... to the creek.

And after a while watching the water, it's over to the berry patch to see what might be ripe. Today, it's the raspberries.

Yep, she's got this place down.

what they make
We keep the craft supplies ready for whenever those moments of inspiration hit.
I love to see what they come up with...
even the littlest one.

at the beach
Back at our favorite spot in Michigan for a day.

This new-to-walking babe had to get used to the sand moving under her toes!

at the fair
Nothing says summer like county fairs with livestock, rides, games and fried food you're glad to eat just once a year.
