Hazel Diane Holmes
October 4, 2012

Through this peaceful pregnancy that passed so quickly, through the seasons' work and play, we waited to meet this little one. With some important lessons on letting go, she made a dramatic entrance into this world, but has so smoothly found her place in this family (usually nestled in the eager arms of a big brother or sister).
Welcome, sweet little girl. We're so glad you're here.

Hi! I found your blog through SouleMama - I was checking out her (and your) post on maple tapping. That first picture looks just like a place here in Ohio - near Yellow Springs...are you in Ohio? We live in SW Ohio

Yes... that is Yellow Springs. We're in Illinois, but Yellow Springs is one of our favorite places. It's where my husband and I started out, where we went on our honeymoon, and a place we've returned to often. I would love to live near there!

Kate, everyone took turns knitting on that baby hat, putting a little love in for the new baby. Daniel has really mastered the skill. He is so proud!
